If you are having problems or need a few hints, hopefully we will be able to help.
1. General hints and tips
The best way to tackle each of the subjects is first to read through the introduction then work your way through the course, and finally finish with the assessment test. If you still have questions, try looking at the Q&As and then take a look at the books section for further reading.
To enjoy these courses to their full potential you will really need to have the more recent versions of internet browsers - (for example: Internet Explorer or Netscape version 5 or above).
In addition, to view the video clips you will need to have installed RealPlayer (more below in the Video Help section).
2. NavigationTo navigate your way through the workshops you can use the page numbers at the top of the page, the pop-up menu at the bottom of the page, or the left and right arrows on either side of the pop-up menu.
Your current position within the course is indicated both by the highlighted number at the top of the page and in the pop-up menu at the bottom.
3. Video helpAny videos used within the courses are displayed in the web standard streaming RealPlayer format; to view the videos you will need to have the RealPlayer plug-in installed on your computer.
The Realplayer plug-in is available as a FREE download from the Realplayer web site - see below for details of how to download and install Realplayer.
Downloading Real Player
Quick Set-Up: Follow these easy steps to install the RealPlayer plug-in:
Step 1: Verify that your computer has the minimum system requirements:
Step 2: Click here to download the latest version of Basic RealPlayer (free version). You only need the free basic version of the player to view Realplayer videos. You will need to complete a short registration form to download and install the RealPlayer.
Step 3: Install RealPlayer
Double-click on the download file to be guided through the installation process. When the process is complete, the streaming player will be installed on your computer.
Step 4: You are now ready to view the Realplayer videos.

Corporate Firewalls
If you wish to view the videos and you have a firewall in place (if you have access to the Internet from your corporate LAN you probably will have a firewall), you will need to specify your HTTP proxy in the RealPlayer settings. To do this, start RealPlayer, select Options from the menu bar and click on the Proxy tab. This will allow you to specify your HTTP proxy server. Select "Manually configure HTTP Proxy" and type in your proxy server and port.
To find the name and port of your HTTP proxy server:
- Netscape Navigator: OPTIONS > network > proxies > view
- Internet Explorer 5.0: TOOLS > internet options > connection
